Summertime Radness

Let’s talk about beaches. We all have been to one. Unless you’re someone who hasn't, in that c you should probably try to get out more. Anyways, one day I went to an “artificial” beach near my home because my family wanted me to go outside and experience that good old sunshine on my skin. Unfortunately I am someone who likes to avoid the sun at all costs, not because I am a sad recluse who likes to be alone all the time, but because of the damaging effects the sun can have on your skin. As you all know, sun exposure can lead to darker skin, sun spots, premature wrinkling, and also skin cancer if exposed often without protection. So to everyone out there: WEAR YOUR SUNSCREEN! Maybe I’m being too paranoid, but at the beach I tried my best to avoid the sun and basically spent my time under a tent. I know what you’re thinking, “What kind of person brings a tent to the beach?”  Well I’m that type of person so if you see someone in a tent on a beach on a sunny day, there is a high likelihood that that person is me.  Anyhow, I took a bunch of pictures by the sea shore and I thought it would be nice to share them.

that awkward moment when the lifegaurd does'nt show up

I tried taking the mandatory "it's summer"-sunglasses-on-floor-picture.
You're probably wondering why the heck there's grass near the sand, but like I mentioned before, I went to an artificial beach so it was man-made and they just added some sand near the coast.
We cooked some corn on the cob because food is good and you can't deny it. I also saw some Asian women doing the "Asian squat" washing some vegetables with the water fountains usually used to wash sand off people's feet. I laughed to myself, because I could totally see my family doing that if my other relatives were there.

It's me blocking the sun and as you can see, the blue thing on the left is the tent that I hid under. I guess you could say this picture turned out very arts? maybe? Maybe it's just a simple picture of my hand.
shadows are fun.... Try to guess which one of them is me. *Hint": camera

Hope you guys are making the most out of your last weeks of summer!
